Influenster "XO VoxBox" Review

It's here, it's here! My #XOVoxBox from Influenster has officially arrived! I was lucky enough to be selected for this campaign right in time for Valentine's Day, which conveniently, is right near my birthday. It's like Influenster sent me my own birthday gift! :) Okay, now on to the important stuff. What is included in the box?

First up is the John Frieda Frizz Ease Collection: Shampoo, conditioner, and primer. This will be perfect for me once the warm weather arrives on the East Coast. I can never wash-and-go without turning into a ball of frizz, so I'm excited to try out these products and see how well John Frieda works.

Next, a small tube of Skinfix hair repair cream! This was the first product I sampled out of the XOVoxBox. My hands are taking a beating this winter with the single digit temperatures and dry air. This lotion keeps my hands moisturized for hours and healed all my dry patches. A few people have commented on the lotion's smell and oily residue, but I don't think it's any worse than other lotions.

Also included in the XOVoxBox was a coupon code for a FREE order from Adore Me! The only catch was to sign up for a VIP membership (but I have since cancelled). To my surprise, Adore Me's products are pretty good quality! You can read my review here.

My favorite toothpaste, Colgate! The optic white toothpaste, toothbrush, and built-in whitening pen were all included in the XOVoxBox. I have used the toothpaste in the past, and while I didn't see a big difference in whitening, I did notice how much cleaner my mouth felt when compared to other toothpaste brands. I've been wanting to buy a whitener recently, so I'm happy to try out Colgate's pen for free!

Another great product -- Tide's detergent pods. I'm a regular Tide user but have never tested out the laundry pods. This package in particular is the botanical rain scent with Febreze and, truthfully, my laundry has never smelled better. I noticed a difference as soon as I emptied the washing machine.

I was worried the pod would get buried by my clothes and somehow not turn into suds, but everything went according to plan! I highly recommend testing out Tide's laundry pods if you are looking for a simple detergent solution.

 

The last items in my box are a few extra goodies! The AdoreMe coupon, which I already mentioned, was a great surprise. Lands' End provided a $25 off coupon code when you spend $100. I'm a little hesitant to purchase from their online shop without trying on the clothes, so I may take a trip to the store first. The last card is an Ebay opportunity to write two guidelines for ebay related items and/or tasks and earn a $25 gift card, but I might pass on this offer.

All in all, this was a GREAT Influenster VoxBox to be chosen for! It was the perfect pick-me-up for this harsh winter weather, and luckily, the snow didn't delay my box's arrival.
