cape may victorian homes

I decided to drop some of my favorite recent vacation pictures into my blog, so here's a photo post! It seems we've been all over the East Coast the past two months. It was nice to get away, as it always is, but I'm glad to be home!

Cape May, New Jersey
Cape May is a really cute town full of old Victorian homes, surrey bikes, and wineries. The beach is large and spotless (at least during the May season). Flea markets and antique sales seem to be popular in the area, so we made sure to stop by one during our trip. I found the perfect antique key to make a necklace with.

Western Maryland
The mountains of Western Maryland are definitely worth seeing if you ever want to seclude yourself from the bulk of society and basically lose your entire cell signal. The scenery is gorgeous and the lake is the center focus for one of the major towns. If you want alone time with nature, this is the place to visit.

Delaware Beaches
Delaware has the perfect beach towns for a quick getaway. It isn't overly crowded; there are a variety of beaches; and you can take a dip in the ocean, bay, or canal. Just remember your sunscreen! Oh, and watch out for stingrays.. look below to see what Chris caught while surf fishing. That's the first one I've ever seen!
